We do not really class ourselves as a Payroll Company, we are a contractor compliance team and unlike most Payroll companies, firstly we work for both for the client and candidate. Both are just as important to us and with out both we have a forced solution.
We have been operating in the Contractor Recruitment and Payroll arena for over 20 years and we live and breathe the compliance that surrounds it. If you are tired of using an Admin Payroll Company that purely takes your money every week but adds very little other value, please get in touch. Genius was initially set up to administer the business compliance for my own recruitment agency V3 Recruitment.
The reason for this was a frustration with the lack of Employment Law understanding withing the payroll world. The general attitude was that Tax dictates Employment Status, which is just not the case. Employment Status always dictates the Tax status.
If the payroll companies V3 used do not understand the process, they CANNOT protect the business from the HMRC, and as a result CANNOT protect the end client either.

OUR SOLUTION IS BASED ON EMPLOYMENT LAW
The one thing you do not do and also have no need to do is to lie to the HMRC about what you are doing and how you are doing it. If you understand the rules that they set you can operate within them and still achieve what you are needing, if what you are looking to do is genuine.
Some Payroll companies pretend to be a construction company or an accountants, this is purely so that they do not have to report to the HMRC on what they are actually doing for you.
Engaging Genius to undertake Payroll and Compliance services means we are agreeing to take on all the contractual obligations for the workers you are looking to engage.
We clearly cannot do this if what you are trying to achieve is not inline with the HMRC guidelines. Our job is to administer this risk and to report back to you providing solutions for any failures or areas of concern.
