Key Duties / Responsibilities:
We are seeking a forward-thinking, dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Executive to join our innovative, entrepreneurial team based in Portsmouth.
• Be responsible for developing and delivering a sales plan
• Be the face of the existing business
• Engage new clients and close the business
• Cold calling both on the phones and in person to bring on new clients
• Lead generating and networking
• Competitor analysis and focus
• Building and maintaining valuable client relationships
• Monthly and yearly objectives, performance, planning, forecasting and targeting
• Helping to attract and recruit an outstanding sales team (Training/Coaching/Mentoring)
This is an excellent opportunity for a serious sales person with a real hunger for success.
Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
Must be able to demonstrate a successful track record in Business Development and sales generation
Have a strong network within a commercially relevant industry
Excellent Sales technics; questioning, qualification closing etc.
The individual will have the ability to identify appropriate sales strategies and execute a sales plan
Proven ability on objection handling techniques
Must be able to operate at all levels in an organisation, from Exec to Director
Have a proven Financial understanding of Gross Profit and Commission Structures
Construction sales and recruitment experience would be preferable
Positive High-intensity work ethic
