Our client is looking for a Technical Administrator to work at a location in Waterlooville
Key Responsibilities for the position include:
Organise Technical and Project meetings as required.
· Support the administrative transition of projects from the Product Development team into the In-Life team from a regulatory and certification perspective.
· Update & maintain certificate expiration databases to ensure expiring certifications are renewed prior to expiration.
· Support Regulatory data management databases.
· Follow internal processes to ensure document management systems are maintained and expiration warnings are communicated to the Regulatory Managers within the agreed timescales.
· Uploading of technical files (e.g. data sheets, component composition data) into appropriate software systems.
· Support delivery of project documentation to Stage Gate review board (where applicable)
· Complete project minutes and actions log.
· Raise purchase orders against quotations for regulatory approvals with support from the regulatory team.
This includes:
● Management of the technical documentation pack ensuring the content is accurate and meets the required standards..
● Maintenance of the electronic product data records, revision history and traceability.
● Work closely with the In Life Product Engineering (ILPE) Engineers supporting technical change requests. To take ownership of the Technical Data to ensure:
● Integrity of technical data, attributes and validity throughout the product life cycle.
● Completeness of technical data internally and externally.
● Processes related to document control and management are fit for purpose and to make improvements where necessary. To provide support to the Change Process in the following areas:
● Ensure change request documents are properly submitted and are as complete as practicable.
● Ensure change requests are processed within the necessary timescale to support the business needs.
● Arrange meetings for change reviews and create minutes.
● Arrange meetings to bring technical team together to ensure changes progress.
Key Skills & Experience required for the position include:
Previous experience in technical administrative role
· Experience of working in an engineering or regulatory environment desirable
· Use of PC based tools including Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Google Sheets. Excellent IT skills
· Excellent organisation skills.
· Ability to work quickly and accurately
· Flexible and proactive.
· Ability to work to deadlines
· Good attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
· Ability to work on own initiative
