A patriotic landlady swapped pints for paint brushes to decorate the outside of her boozer with giant poppies ahead of Remembrance Day.
Pub landlord Danni Molloy decided to give The Blacksmith Arms a makeover after punters suggested a tribute to the fallen.
The 28-year-old, who took over the pub in Kingsley Holt, Staffs., last year, suggested painting poppies on the outside and the regulars all pitched in to help.
Danni said: “One night a regular asked if we were going to do anything to commemorate Remembrance Day this year and I had no answer.
“I kind of sat there and I had a little bit of a think. I don't have small ideas. If I'm doing something, it's either go big or go home.
“I literally just thought, you know what, this is what I'm going to do.
“I'm just going to paint big, massive poppies on my pub because it's the biggest thing that I could think of doing with the place that I have.”
Danni added: “I started on Saturday morning and did about two hours until I got rained off.
“I started painting the poppies at the top of the pub, but I wear glasses so I couldn't see a thing that I was doing.
“The paint ran too so we were left with some very smudged poppies on Saturday afternoon.
“I went back the next day and finished them off.
“I wrote 'Lest We Forget' as well. This is the first time being a manager of a pub and it's my first time commemorating Remembrance Day, so it means a lot.
“I think it's extremely important that we, as the poem says, that we remember them.
“A lot of the people that are alive nowadays would not be here if it wasn't for the people that have fought and still continue to fight for us to make sure that we can all live happily and safely
“I think it's just important to, in my opinion, do something to remember them and to commemorate their memories and obviously past, present and future.”
Today's poppy appeal sees 40,000 volunteers distribute 40 million poppies, generating more than £50 million for former service personnel.
