Genius Money are recruiting for a Service and Compliance Consultant to join our team in Portsmouth.

Genius Money work with contractors and businesses to provide smarter, compliant models enabling them to payroll their sub-contractors without risk from HMRC investigation. We work on behalf of clients within the construction industry offering a variety of employment solutions such as, compliance protection, labour tracking software, payroll and recruitment.

 

Job title: Service and Compliance Consultant       

Reports to: Service Director

Location: Portsmouth

Role type: Permanent

Hours: 8.00am-17:30pm Monday to Friday

Salary: £25K- £30K

 

The role

To ensure that we are fully servicing our Client base in a professional and compliant manner by supporting the Service Director with onboarding new Clients and managing the Clients Portfolio.

Day to day duties

  • Assisting Service Director with onboarding new clients and contractors
  • Receiving worker and site details from Client, chasing where necessary 
  • Attending site to register new workers and explain the Genius Money offering
  • Ensuring all new workers receive welcome emails and texts following first weeks pay
  • Entity checks completed and up to date for every worker
  • Verifying TAX status for all contractors
  • CIS registration
  • Right to work check completed
  • Client Exclusivity contracts completed and uploaded to CRM
  • Support sales efforts by obtaining leads on site for new prospective Clients (targeted)
  • Ensuring all sites are audited and are notified of all new sites being set up
  • Relevant CCO’s created and signed by client
  • Ensuring that the right contractor is attached to the correct CCO
  • Up to date VAT - all clients on 0% and 5% sites are evidenced
  • Support Service Director with organising regular client visits (4 week/quarterly) and 12-month annual health checks
  • Regular communication with Client base via call/email and face to face visits
  • Support payroll team where required
  • Daily validation
  • Daily management of CRM ensuring all communication with clients/contractors is documented
  • Answering calls and assisting Clients/contractors with queries
  • Collate weekly/fortnightly and monthly finishers to the lead gen team
  • Upselling Personal accident cover and TAX returns

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in an administrative role and must be computer-literate
  • Client/Customer facing role
  • Ability to deal and adapt to people at different levels in terms of communication
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to manage time effectively
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to the business
  • Planning and organisation is essential
